Chapter 20

A substitute teacher carries the John class from the end of chapter 19 through all of chapter 20: the legs left unbroken and the side pierced, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus burying Jesus with about seventy-five pounds of spices, Mary at the open tomb, the folded facecloth, the locked room, and Thomas. He treats the burial details as an answer to old claims that the body was stolen, and class members weigh in throughout. Time runs out before the closing applications get much room.
