About this sermon

The Sunday class hour on the close of Luke 17 and most of Luke 18, framed by a century of Roman rule and a nation praying for judgment on its enemies. The teacher argues that the passage about two in one bed describes the temporal judgment that fell on Jerusalem in AD 70 rather than the last day, and fields a class question about the rapture. From there: the persistent widow, the Pharisee and the tax collector, the rich ruler, and Zacchaeus, where the hour lands on the Son of Man coming to seek and save the lost.
