About this sermon
A Wednesday evening class moving deliberately fast through Luke 16:19 to 17:21 so the study can spend its last hours on the crucifixion and resurrection. It opens with the rich man and Lazarus, where the teacher's point is not the geography of the afterlife but the beggar who sat at the gate and was never helped, then turns to millstones, rebuke and forgiveness, the apostles asking for more faith, and servants who have only done their duty. It ends with the ten lepers, the one Samaritan who came back, and the Pharisees' needling question about when the kingdom would come.
