Back from a summer in Colorado, Josh Higgins gives grace two passes in this Sunday morning class before turning to a third word, help. The first pass treats charis as a friendly word, close kin to chara, joy, and asks what a gift like that says about God's view of the person receiving it. The second insists the favor is unearned, working through Israel leaving Egypt loaded with their neighbors' gold. The hour lands on Romans 8:26, where the Spirit takes hold on the other side of a prayer the believer cannot word.
