A deliberate breather in the Minor Prophets study: after the unrelieved judgment of Nahum, the Wednesday class spends its evening on hope, then argues the two are not opposites at all. Hope gets treated as an anchor rather than wishful thinking, tested against Paul and Silas singing in a Philippian jail, the back half of Hebrews 11 where faith ends in caves and saws, and Psalm 88, the one psalm that offers no hope at its close. The last stretch weighs right and wrong ways to take correction.
