About this sermon
Josh Higgins, preaching in the congregation's Encouragers series, takes up the disciple sent to the one man in Damascus everyone had reason to avoid. Acts 9 supplies the frame (Saul blinded on the road, Ananias answering "Yes, Lord" to every instruction until he hears the name) and the lesson turns on the moment he hesitates. From there it argues that introducing someone to Christ is the highest form of encouragement, closing with the account of a former Klansman baptized by the preacher who befriended him.
