Chapter 2 - God came down

The "chapter 2" of the title is Hebrews 2, and JP Flores spends a December Sunday morning on one question: what does it actually mean that God came near? The weight falls on the quotation the Hebrew writer lifts from Isaiah 8, "I and the children God has given me are for signs and wonders", which Flores reads as saying the gospel is confirmed not only by tongues and healings but by a faithful people standing with one another in suffering. He ends concretely: notice the grief in the room, offer the ride, pray on the spot.
