About this sermon
Zac McCray builds a whole sermon on a word that carries several meanings at once. You can dress yourself, dress a salad, dress a deer: and, as he notes for the healthcare workers in the room, dress a wound. Leviticus 8 turns out to hold all four: Aaron clothed, the altar anointed with oil, the sacrifices cleaned, and atonement made for the people. He then turns the lens on the hearer, asking what a Christian strips off, is anointed with, and puts on.
