God Delights in You - Micah McBryde

Micah McBryde preaches through all three chapters of Zephaniah to reach one verse buried inside it, 3:17, where God rejoices over his people with singing. He opens by asking what expression is on God's face when he looks at you, then works through chapter one's uncreation language and the complacent men God hunts through the city with lamps, chapter two's call to seek shelter and be hidden, and the Hebrew words behind God's gladness. The shelter Zephaniah could not yet name, he argues, turns out to be a person.
