Joe McLain - John 4 & 5

Despite the title, this Sunday morning Bible class works through Luke 4 and 5, not John. Joe McLain starts from the crowd at Capernaum finding that Jesus taught with authority, and takes a long detour into how a first-century synagogue service ran and why reading the Torah and the prophets rather than quoting the Talmud sounded so different. The class then moves through the unclean spirit, Peter's mother-in-law, the catch of fish, the leper, and the paralytic lowered through the roof.
