Minor Prophets #1 - Intro

The opening class of a quarter-long Sunday study of the twelve short prophetic books, and it spends most of its time arguing that "minor" describes word count and nothing else: the Hebrew Bible calls them simply the Twelve. The teacher lays out three themes to listen for across the quarter: God's sovereignty over every nation, his holiness, and a love that keeps pursuing, drawn out through Habakkuk's bafflement at Babylon and Hosea's marriage. He closes with the study method he wants used and a schedule that starts in Jonah on Wednesday.
