Minor Prophets #5 - Hosea

Picking up mid-chapter 5, this Minor Prophets class works verse by verse to Hosea 10:5, unpacking image after image: God as a moth in the cloth, a lion that carries its kill back to the den, Ephraim as a cake left unturned, and a silly dove flying off to Egypt and Assyria for rescue. Chapter 6's "come, let us return to the Lord" is the pivot: a repentance that burns off like the morning dew is no repentance at all. A Sunday morning class, taught conversationally with questions from the room.
