Minor Prophets #7 - Amos

Class seven of the Minor Prophets series reaches Amos, covering chapters 1-5 after an overview video. The teacher follows how Amos circles Israel's neighbours with eight judgments, winning his hearers' agreement, before turning the longest and sharpest one on Israel itself, then walks the three sermons of chapters 3-5 as explanation, accusation and lament. The recurring theme is a prosperity that left the northern kingdom hyper-religious but not godly, and the class ends on Amos himself: a herdsman and fig farmer God called anyway.
