New Birth

The second sermon in Josh Higgins' Vital series, following one on Luke 9:23 and the call to die to self. Working through Jesus' night conversation with Nicodemus, Higgins argues that a dead spirit cannot reproduce spiritual life, only the Spirit gives it, and draws three limits out of that: you must not work for it, must not worry about whether you are invited, and must not wait. He ties the last breath a person takes before going under the water to Romans 6, then closes with the prodigal's interrupted speech and an invitation to be baptized.
