About this sermon

Mark McCrary opens with a Bible class he once sat in where the teacher said God does not care how you feel about him as long as you obey him. His answer works through John 14-17, where Jesus keeps circling back to fellowship (between Father and Son, between God and his people, and among believers) and puts obedience inside that relationship rather than above it. Two illustrations, a reluctant runner and a dog on a leash, carry the landing: obedience is not the price of fellowship but the proof that fellowship matters.
