About this sermon
Josh Higgins opens a multi-week study of Colossians, starting with a fish thrashing in the bottom of a boat because it wants to live: struggle, he argues, is a sign of life rather than failure. Paul's worry at Colossae was formation: a church being told that Jesus is wonderful but not quite enough. Working through Colossians 1, Higgins draws out three uses of Paul's most repeated word in the letter, "all": the gospel is all grace, it changes all of a life, and it is for all people.
