Teen Weekend Service

The Sunday evening service closing a teen weekend on accountability, planned and led entirely by the congregation's young men: song leading, prayers and four scripture readings, several of them a first time up front. The main talk sorts accountability into vertical and horizontal: what God already sees, the account owed for every careless word, the saints' strange future role in judging angels, then church discipline and welcoming the repentant back, the weight elders and deacons carry, and the daily encouraging of Hebrews 3. It closes by inviting anyone to bring their cares forward rather than face them alone.
