About this sermon
John 13 anchors this one: with no servant on hand to wash feet before the Passover meal, Jesus does it himself, then tells the twelve to do it for each other rather than for him. Josh Higgins presses the point that a command cannot be a feeling (love is what we will, not what we feel) and that it grows by being spent on the people hardest to be around. He notes that Judas's feet were washed too, and closes by asking the church to let God love them first.
