About this sermon
Luke Reeves builds the lesson on John 20, where Mary, the ten disciples and Thomas each receive a different aid to belief, and asks the obvious question: why do we get none of them? He surveys signs God gave before, the rainbow, Abraham's torch, Gideon's fleece, Lazarus, the Ethiopian on the Gaza road, then argues that scripture and the church are what has been given to us now, a position of privilege rather than a leftover. The closing appeal is the father's prayer in Mark 9: I believe, help my unbelief.
